Denver Arts & Venues (A&V) is a division of the City & County of Denver's Department of General Services. A&V’s mission is to amplify Denver’s quality of life and economic vitality through our premier public venues, public art collection, and free entertainment events and programs. A&V is responsible for the maintenance, repair, management and operation of the City's theatre, concert, auditorium or arena venues, supports a variety of free and paid programming and events, and oversees the City’s public art program and creative sector business development initiatives.

Exclusive Non-Alcoholic Beverage Partner RFP
Denver Arts & Venues (“A&V”) is requesting proposals from non-alcoholic beverage providers to be an exclusive product and promotional sponsor with respect to City of Denver owned and operated public assembly facilities to include the following: Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Visitor Center and Trading Post; Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) to include the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre, Ellie Caulkins Opera House and Boettcher Concert Hall; the Denver Coliseum; the Colorado Convention Center; and Loretto Heights Theater (collectively, the “Applicable Locations”).

The Proposed Partnership Plan should be separated by brand and Applicable Location as outlined in Section III for a five (5) year contract.

Exclusive Champagne Marketing Partner RFP
Denver Arts & Venues (“A&V”) is requesting proposals from producers and distributors of Champagnes to be an exclusive marketing partner with respect to City of Denver owned and operated public assembly facilities to include the following: Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Visitor Center and Trading Post; Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) to include the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre, Ellie Caulkins Opera House and Boettcher Concert Hall; the Denver Coliseum; the Colorado Convention Center; Loretto Heights Theatre (collectively, the “Applicable Locations”).
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a Champagne Partner for exclusive marketing rights in the Champagne product categories for a 3-year term. The Proposed Partnership Plan should be separated by brand and Applicable Location as outlined in Section III.
The City has current sponsorship agreements with a champagne producer for exclusive marketing rights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Denver Performing Arts Complex, Denver Coliseum and Colorado Convention Center that expires on December 31, 2022.

Five Points Jazz Festival Producer RFP
Denver Arts & Venues, an agency of the City and County of Denver, is soliciting proposals from event producers to produce the Five Points Jazz Festival. This one-day annual event is held on the first Saturday in June on Welton Street between 25th and 29th Ave in the city’s Five Points neighborhood and is free and open to the public. Attendance ranges from 75,000 – 100,000 over the course of the day. This event is of special importance to the local community and neighborhood, and utilization of neighborhood businesses, organizations, and other neighborhood resources is both expected and required.
The selected contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of planning, operating and producing a large-scale community festival. This will include but is not limited to:
• Scheduling and/or attending all meetings deemed necessary for professional event production.
• The hiring of subcontractors to provide equipment and support services for the day of the event.
• Ensuring the festival has a professional presence.
• The hiring of licensed, unarmed security personnel and off-duty police officers based on current recommendations from the City of Denver Police Department to ensure festival security, including setup, event day and strike.
• The recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision of volunteers.
• Arranging all required permits.
• A final Event Production/Staffing Plan, including breakdown of paid staff, volunteers, subcontractors, etc.
• Coordinating with and completing all requirements for the City of Denver, Office of Special Events.
• Submission of a run-of-show including but not limited to: detailed event logistics; stage, sound and backline set-up time; signage setup schedule; vendor set up coordination; pre-event, day-of, and post-event clean up; etc.
• Submission of an Emergency Action Plan
• Music licensing and reporting for artist set lists.
• Securing an unaffiliated, non-profit partner who will obtain a liquor license and sell alcoholic beverages during the event; non-profit partner will be responsible for all costs related to alcoholic beverage sales, including but not limited to: signage, staffing, materials, and equipment.
• Post-event cleanup, to meet or exceed the satisfaction of DAV during the final walkthrough review.A pre-proposal virtual meeting will be conducted on Oct. 18, 2 p.m. MDT through Microsoft Teams. The proposal terms and conditions will be reviewed and discussed at this time. Attendance is NOT mandatory, but strongly suggested. Attendees must register through Eventbrite to participate, and will receive information on how to join the virtual meeting after registration.

The City and County of Denver is collaborating with Rocky Mountain E-purchasing System (BidNet®) in the advertisement and facilitation of Requests for Proposals (RFP) administered by the City's General Services Purchasing Division. It is a requirement of this RFP that interested parties familiarize themselves and register with BidNet®. Registration with BidNet® is available at NO CHARGE and allows vendors access to view governmental bids posted on BidNet®; they offer an additional notification service option with an associated fee. It is the responsibility of the vendor to evaluate and select the service option of their choice.
