Permitting and coordination of public events and film activities on City and County of Denver property.
The Public Event & Film Permitting (PEFP) team is the City and County of Denver’s centralized resource for permitting and coordinating public events and film activities on city property. Formerly operating as the Denver Office of Special Events, PEFP now functions within Denver Arts & Venues, strengthening coordination across arts, culture, public space and large-scale civic experiences throughout the city.
PEFP works in partnership with event organizers, filmmakers, community groups and city agencies to ensure public events and productions are safe, accessible and community informed. Our team guides applicants through the permitting process, coordinates city reviews and helps navigate logistics related to streets, parks, plazas and other public spaces.
