The McNichols Building

The McNichols Civic Center Building is located at the northwest corner of Civic Center Park, at the intersection of Colfax and Bannock. In 1909, the cornerstone of the McNichols Building was laid. It set the foundation for the then Carnegie Library that would become a center of learning in Civic Center Park. This stunning Greek Revival building with its classic Corinthian columns and iconic colonnade across its front, offers new experiences in a classic space.

Denver Performing Arts Complex, Chambers Grant Salon

The Chambers Grant Salon, an extraordinary space enclosed in the original sandstone walls forming the foundation of the historic Newton Auditorium, is a preeminent location for social events.  Accessed via a stunning glass and terrazzo staircase from the main lobby of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House or via stairs or elevator from the valet parking entrance on 14th Street, the Chambers Grant Salon is a flexible space able to accommodate intimate gatherings and larger events. Denver Performing Arts Complex, Studio Loft

The Studio Loft is an 8,000sf performance, rehearsal and event space with a cathedral ceiling, exposed brick, warm-colored walls, a 3,000sf wood dance floor, AV system with sound and high definition projector, and attached smaller room with a bar. The Studio Loft can hold approximately 400-500 people and can be used for several types of events such as small black-box type performances, rehearsals, pre-theatre VIP parties, conferences, weddings, holiday celebrations, and other gatherings. The Studio Loft also houses a smaller ‘pre-functional’ room that includes a bar and its own private 14th street entrance.
