DENVER - Denver Arts & Venues is participating locally in World Art Drop Day on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

World Art Drop Day aims to generate random bonds between strangers and communities through the act of creating and spreading art on the first Tuesday in September each year.

A&V is dropping clues starting at 10 a.m., and hiding miniature blue bears that resemble Lawrence Argent’s “I See What You Mean” located at the Colorado Convention Center (colloquially known as “The Big Blue Bear”) and pieces of art from VSA Colorado/Access Gallery’s Art-O-Mat created by participants in their Artworks program. Clues include photos and hints posted on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and in the Art Drop Denver Facebook Group using the hashtag #artdropdenver.

Additionally, more than 130 Denver-area artists have committed to dropping their own art on Sept. 5.
