Youth on Record Open Mic

Open Mic is a free community event that provides monthly performance opportunities for young and emerging artists to showcase their musical talent in front of a live audience! This event is a perfect space for both first timers and experienced performers, alike. Each month, Open Mic features a special guest artist, a local community musician, who performs alongside our young creatives. Previous guest artists have included Fr8 Heavy Cypher, 2B noquestion, Dr3am Cast, Jelie, and more.

If you want to explore live performance, this event is a perfect opportunity for both first timers and experienced performers, alike! The environment is friendly, encouraging, and non-judgemental.

• Age Range: All ages to perform or to attend
• Cost: FREE!
• Rules: No profanity or explicit content please (this is a family-friendly show), artists have a maximum of 8 minutes to perform. 

The sign up sheet opens each first Friday of the month at 4 p.m., but you can sign up in advance by clicking here.

Prizes will be awarded to participants. Food and drinks will be provided. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend!
