This year at HiPoints, we honor a true Denver legend — Charles Burrell, the “Jackie Robinson of classical music” and a foundational voice in jazz history.
On September 13th, join us in Cousins Plaza at Sonny Lawson Park for a free, all-day jazz concert dedicated to Mr. Burrell’s life, legacy, and the deep roots of sound that still echo through Five Points. This is more than music — it’s a tribute to a man who paved the way, broke barriers, and inspired generations.
