Join Denver Public Art and Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK) on Friday, October 3rd, at the ELK Education Center and Montbello Open Space Park to celebrate artist Maureen Hearty and her new public artworks, "Nature’s Songs" and "Kissing Birds." These artworks were created in collaboration with ELK staff and students who composed original music for the interactive audio box. Meet the artist and stick around for the For Montbello event. Enjoy tasty food, soulful sounds, games, and an open market—welcoming BIPOC neighbors, LGBTQIA2S+ community, families, youth, immigrants and nature enthusiasts alike.
