Join Denver Public Art for an Artist 101 Workshop to learn more about the City of Denver's public art program.
Location: Center for Visual Art - Metropolitan State University of Denver, CO
This educational workshop is designed to introduce artists to the City's public art program, including the 1% for Art funding process, upcoming opportunities, and the artist selection process. Participants will gain practical guidance on developing competitive proposals, ask questions, and learn how to successfully engage with future public art applications.

- Explain how the 1% for Art program is funded.
- Increase participation from local and emerging artists.
- Demystify the application and selection process.
- Provide practical guidance for preparing competitive proposals.
