Please join the RiNo Art District, Denver Arts & Venues and the Denver Public Art Program at Arkin’s Park as they welcome the newest public artworks into the City’s collection! Artists Jaime Molina and Pedro Barrios, with help from Tres Birds Workshop, will unveil their latest works at this dedication ceremony – three old industrial cement mixers have been transformed into sculptural additions to the park. Two of the three have been constructed to provide shade and a quiet respite from the park, while the third is the focal point in the plaza gardens. All three have been painted in the artists’ signature styles of warm inviting colors, organic shapes and overlayed faces and symbols. Come check out the new works, and hear from the artists and City officials about this wonderful series of artworks that provide a sense of place and pride within the RiNo ArtPark.
Ceremony will be held at the centermost artwork of the park during the ArtPark Grand Opening weekend.
Each guest will be required to show proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours of the event. RAPID COVID-19 tests will be available on site for $75. Please be sure to bring your photo ID for comparison to vaccination card and/or COVID-19 test results.
