Join Neena Expressions for the 6th Annual Community Gathering on Sunday, September 27, from 1–3 PM at Nurture – A Wellcare Marketplace, the former home of Escuela Tlatelolco.
This year’s Gathering honors the history, legacy and community of Escuela Tlatelolco while looking toward the future through Energy of Life, a new public art installation by Denver artist David Ocelotl Garcia. The afternoon will include community storytelling, art, music, a somatic writing experience, food and opportunities to connect with others who want a connection to Denver’s Chicano history and culture.
