2025 At A Glance

2025 VENUES HIGHLIGHTS
Across its iconic venues, DAV brings people together at scale, hosting world-class events, driving economic impact and creating unforgettable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
There's a moment — you probably know it — when the lights go down at Red Rocks just before a show, and every single person in that amphitheatre holds their breath at the same time. Or when a child sees a piece of public art for the first time and asks a question they've never thought to ask before. Or when a small nonprofit gets a grant that lets them sustain a community program for another year.
Those moments are not accidents. They are the result of an idea that our team believes in deeply: that a city can use commerce as a tool for community, that great venues and great events can both connect our community and generate revenue that is reinvested back into the cultural landscape to help something extraordinary grow. That is the promise of Denver Arts & Venues, and this annual report shares how we are keeping it.
Vibrant cities are built on arts and culture. On pride and shared experience. On the belief that beauty and creativity are not luxuries; they are infrastructure. Denver Arts & Venues exists to fund that infrastructure, protect it and grow it, year after year.
There is more good work ahead. More stages to fill, more art pieces to create and more moments to inspire the next generation of artists, performers, musicians and patrons of the arts. I hope you'll read these highlights and see what I see: a city investing in itself and a team fully committed to its city and its people.
Thank you for being part of it.
Sincerely,

Gretchen Hollrah
