Please join artist Alexander Perrine and Community Coalition for Barnum for a pizza and recycled art workshop March 10 or 16, 4-5 p.m., or April 1, 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Ross-Barnum Branch Library.
Children ages 8-18 are invited to make bear sculptures out of recycled materials using imagination and glue, and learn the techniques that local artist Alexander Perrine (bodiesofwaste.com) will be using to create a large work of art that will be installed at Ross-Barnum Branch Library on Earth Day. Their sculptures will be displayed at the library display cases as part of the overall project.
The Installation Ceremony will be held on Earth Day, April 22, at 4 p.m.
This program is supported by a P.S. You Are Here grant through Denver Arts & Venues.
