Red Rocks Amphitheatre announces Stranahan's as official whiskey of Red Rocks
Denver, CO – Colorado’s most famous outdoor venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, announces today that Stranahan’s® Rocky Mountain Single Malt Whiskey has been named the “Official Whiskey of Red Rocks Amphitheatre” in a partnership that will provide exclusive marketing rights at the world-famous entertainment site and national historic landmark.
The Stranahan’s partnership is the first for Red Rocks with a Colorado whiskey brand. Stranahan’s will offer special sampling opportunities during key events and Stranahan’s Whiskey will be featured throughout the venue’s concessions during all 2018 shows.
“I’m excited that this partnership will bring two Colorado icons together in such an epic and inspirational venue,” said Rob Dietrich, Master Distiller of Stranahan’s Whiskey. “This relationship only further solidifies that Stranahan’s is Colorado’s whiskey and Red Rocks is Colorado’s venue. I can’t think of a better pairing than that.”
“Stranahan’s local origins are an important part of this partnership,” said Brian Kitts, director of marketing and business development for Denver Arts & Venues, the City agency responsible for operating Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. “Red Rocks and Stranahan’s – Colorado’s first legal distillery – share a history of good times. ‘Stranahan’s on the Rocks’ has a great sound to it.”
“And, it’s nice to have a partner just down the road,” Kitts said. “Fans can taste Stranahan’s at Red Rocks and then tour their Denver distillery as we look to offer some great benefits for ticket holders.”
The deal begins with Red Rocks but extends to other venues owned and operated by the City and County of Denver including the Bellco Theatre and Colorado Convention Center, Denver Coliseum and Denver Performing Arts Complex. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is the world’s leading amphitheater in tickets sold at nearly 1.3 million last season.
