This year’s Biennial Festival invites you to a community-centered celebration that uplifts local voices and shared creativity. Rooted in connection and conversation, the festival reflects the diversity and dynamism of our region and its ties across the Americas. As part of the ongoing activation of 16th Street, the Festival will bring vibrant cultural experiences into the heart of downtown Denver.
Highlights include the Biennial Culture Club exhibition Double Vision, exploring the duplicity of identities; Sabor Ancestral, a gathering that dissolves boundaries between gallery, bar, and ritual space; CANDY STORE, Jonathan Saiz’s experimental exhibition of thousands of affordable miniatures by Colorado artists; and a lively Reading Room hosted by MATTER, featuring interactive programming for readers, listeners, and performers alike.
