Join Denver Public Art for a collaborative event to help shape a new mural. We’ll kick things off with a welcome and introductions with our project partners.
A brief project overview will provide context on the mural’s location, the process and Emanuel’s thoughtful approach to honoring the original work.
The heart of the event will be a community conversation—an opportunity to reflect together on what story this new mural should tell, what values it should reflect and which aspects of the original we may want to preserve in spirit.
We’ll close by sharing common themes, identifying two guiding goals for the mural and outlining next steps, including how your input will be used and opportunities to stay involved, like the Deaccession Ceremony this fall.
