Please join Denver Arts & Venues for the eighth installment in our Speaker Series events. We continue to discuss the necessary work organizations must commit to in order to be anti-racist with a focus on tactical and actionable steps.
This free, virtual, moderated discussion with Tariana Navas-Nieves – Denver Arts & Venues, Director, Cultural Affairs and Dwinita (Nita) Mosby-Tyler – Chief Catalyst, The Equity Project LLC, will be hosted on Zoom - a link will be provided to participants upon registration.
Topics will include:
• How to incorporate equity into recruitment, from the job description to the interview, to making a decision
• How to incorporate equity into employees’ annual goals
• How bias shows up in performance reviews
• Becoming more aware/acknowledging bias in the workplace to create more inclusive and equitable environments
In preparation for the session, participants are encouraged to view the recordings from our previous events centered on equity and anti-racism work located here.
