Attending the Five Points Jazz Festival:

Thank you for helping to make the Five Points Jazz Festival safe and enjoyable.

Our festival rules are based on similar rules used at sporting venues and other major events and festivals, and will be posted at all gates and published on ArtsandVenues.com/FivePointsJazz.

Weather is possible. The Five Points Jazz Festival is an outdoor event and will occur rain or shine, so be prepared for Colorado weather changes, including full exposure to the sun, strong wind and even severe rain or other weather conditions. It is always wise to dress in layers (including comfortable walking shoes), have a poncho onhand, and to wear sunscreen.

PERMITTED ITEMS

• One empty, reusable water bottle per person e.g., Nalgene bottles, Camelbaks, aluminum bottles (32 oz. or less)
• One factory-sealed bottle of water (32 oz. or less)
• Single-pocket and clear bags no larger than 13” x 15” x 8”
• Non-aerosol sunscreen and bug spray
• Ponchos, sunhats, raingear and other protective clothing

PROHIBITED ITEMS

• ALL OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGES 
• Marijuana and drugs without a prescription
• Coolers (hard-sided and soft-sided)
• Weapons or items construed as weapons (including, but not limited to: firearms, knives of all sizes, sharp-edged objects, mace and pepper spray, tasers, props/toys)
• Bullhorns or noisemakers
• Selfie sticks
• Confetti, glitter and other items that can be thrown
• Commercial signage
• Remote control flying devices or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles)
• Glass containers
• Bicycles, scooters, hover-boards, unicycles or personal motorized vehicles (personal mobility devices excepted)
• Pets (except for service animals). Pets should be left at home for their comfort and safety.
• Umbrellas

Please note:

• All bags, containers and packages are subject to search.
• Security will not store prohibited items. The patron may choose to dispose of the item, not enter the event, or return when their prohibited item has been stored offsite.
• If a prohibited item poses a potential significant security risk, security will alert all gates to the potential threat in order to maintain festival safety.
• Guests will not be allowed to carry alcoholic beverages through the exit gates.
• No unauthorized vending will be permitted.

We have photographers and videographers at the event to capture the day. By attending Five Points Jazz Festival, you are providing consent for the photographer to take your photo image and for Five points Jazz Festival and our partners to use photos from the event on social media and for other promotional purposes.

• Dispositivos voladores a control remoto o vehículos aéreos no tripulados (UAV, en inglés)
• Contenedores de vidrio
• Bicicletas, patinetas, deslizadores, monociclos o vehículos motorizados personales (excepto los dispositivos de movilidad personal)
• Mascotas (excepto animales de servicio). Las mascotas deben quedarse en casa para su comodidad y seguridad.
• Paraguas o sombrillas

Para tener en cuenta:

• Todas las bolsas, contenedores y paquetes están sujetos a inspección.
• El personal de seguridad no almacenará artículos prohibidos. El usuario puede optar por deshacerse del artículo, no ingresar al evento o regresar cuando su artículo prohibido se haya almacenado fuera del sitio.
• Si un artículo prohibido representa un riesgo potencial importante de seguridad, el personal de seguridad alertará a todas las puertas sobre la amenaza potencial para mantener la seguridad del festival.
• Los invitados no podrán llevarse bebidas alcohólicas a través de las puertas de salida.
